Laval Rocket: GDT: Game FOUR- Rochester at Laval 7PM EST

Man can Engstrom ever skate. It will be interesting to see him fine tune his game in the minors over the next year or two and get used to the North American game.

Will be intersting to see: what's his defensive ceiling? What's his offensive ceiling?
Gustav Forsling is his ceiling. Elite skaters like this are rare. GM's will want him included in a package for that elusive 2nd line center.

Maybe he has been directed by management to play Fowler. It wasn't his idea I am convinced. Seasoned coaches ride the #1.
I hope we will know that. If so, it's just as stupid if not more. Fowler is not in the NHL next year. Might not be the year after. The experience he needs will be what he had this year in the regular season, a little in THESE playoffs...but most importantly the entire next year.....No idea how what's being played right now is crucial.

I've been thinking the same thing. He'd be a shrewd addition to a package by another GM. An underrated prospect. Most fans of that team acquiring him won't even know who he is.

Forsling is very good defensively from what I've seen.

Can Engstrom become that good? We'll see.

An interesting fact about the Panthers Dcore. While they have 3 dmen that are 6'4 and above, (Seth Jones, Ekblad, and Mikkola), they also have 3 dmen 6'1 and below (Forsling, Schmidt, and Kulikov).

Anyone wondering about a replacement for Matheson can stop wondering.
Still a puzzle how things shake out. Clearly some LD's need to be traded for a top 4 RD, a top 6 C, etc...

On the left, we already have Hutson, Guhle, and Xhekaj, and Struble. Who does Engstrom beat out?

This game was over at 2-0.
Depends. For me, it's only over after this guy scores. :sarcasm:
