The loss isn't on Primeau, he was fine but to me it's more why do when Fowler has been so impressive, that said I can see why they may have wanted to get Primeau a game in case Fowler got injured (although they can always loan Dobes) and since Primeau has only played 2 games over the last month, but not something I would have done.
Finally Roy showed some life, much better game from him, even last game was better then his 1st. Kapanen impressed, too bad he didn't bury that one chance as I thought for sure he was going to. I still don't know how he's allowed to play, I asked around twitter but no one seems to know how Demidov can't be sent down, last year Hutson couldn't be sent down but somehow Kapanen is. The one difference is those 2 signed after trade deadline but during the season, Kapanen signed in the off-season. Interesting as I didn't know that was a thing.
I wouldn't be too hard on the Engstrom-Reinbacher pair as they have mostly been really good together, although last game wasn't and tonight was worse. Mailloux with a good game but shows how dumb he is with his stupid shit at the end of the game, it didn't make it in the vid but at the very end of the vid when you see him swing his stick at a player and I believe ABB did as well right after, but after they broke it up, the refs had Mailloux and he pushed the refs hands off him, maybe not a big deal but just not smart thing to do in the playoffs of all times.
I never understood the idea of a Trudeau Mailloux pairing as they clearly are the 2 dumbest D on the team, why would you put them together?
The best line ended up being the Kapanen line as Beck had another good game and Roy woke up as that line was creating the bulk of the chances.
