2 days ago i said i would keep all of Primeau, Dobes and Monty in montreal if possible since they all finished the year with the team. And i said that because i knew it would happen. All coaches will revert to vets even the good coaches it's inevitable, I predict Primeau will be in net until the end unless he sucks.

Primeau and Florian are the only two who have shown up to play so far today.

I’d give him one last shot at the backup role next year. Dobes getting some AHL reps won’t hurt him. But yeah one year

I would have probably rolled with Fowler until he loses, and then bring primeau in as their #1 guy. He did nothing to lose it so I think it was fair to bring him in, but its just the timing of it which i have a slight issue with.

On the other hand, better to bring him in when they're up 2-0 with some room for error rather than have him on the shelf until the start of next round and then start him. He hasn't played in a game in a while and I think both goalies will get starts throughout this run.
