Laval Rocket: GDT- Game 3 Cleveland at Laval 3 PM EST

It will be interesting to see if any line up changes are made.
Fowler is playing is my guess but what about Kapanen? Do you dismantle a winning line up or do you tweak it to make it better?

I agree with most here that there will be no changes for Game 3. But the reality is, Kapanen would be a significant upgrade to Simoneau.

The Rocket have Cleveland on the ropes heading into this afternoon’s Game 3 of their North Division semifinal series... Laval is looking to close out the Monsters are winning twice in Cleveland, including a 4-0 win in Game 2 on Friday night... Jacob Fowler (2-0, 1.00, .956) made 20 saves for his first professional shutout, winning for the fourth time in five starts since joining the Rocket from Boston College last month... Jared Davidson (1-0-1), Lucas Condotta (1-0-1), Alex Barré-Boulet (1-2-3) and Gustav Lindström (1-0-1) scored for Laval in Game 2, and Laurent Dauphin (0-3-3) added two assists... Jet Greaves (2-2, 2.73, .901) made 25 saves in Game 2 for Cleveland... The Monsters won three games when facing elimination in last year’s conference finals against Hershey, forcing a Game 7 after trailing the series three games to none... Thirteen of Laval’s 18 skaters have recorded a point already in the series... The Rocket have outscored the Monsters 21-7 in six meetings this season, including three shutout wins... Cleveland is 8-1-0-0 in Canada this season, including a series-clinching victory at Toronto last weekend.

Simoneau is not a scorer but he is a vital s%^t disturber who should not sit. I would Roy and RHP before I sat Simoneau.
Agreed, Simoneau is not going anywhere.

He's on the 1st pk and he's solid defensively.

I guess Tuch will be scratch if Kapanen play. They could return to that previous line of Davidson-Xhekaj-Beck and that would leave Roy-Kapanen-Gignac. This would be a very balanced top12.

I think an expendable vet like RHP could be the odd man out. Tuch with his size and speed is vital to this team's 4th line. A player that Hughes probably sees as a possible future Hab 4th liner isn't sitting. I could be wrong, it happens often.

Oh I agree with your statement I just feel that Vincent would go with his veterans. It's not like Tuch have been great since his injury but I like his physicality.

The teams that Laval will be facing, if they get past Cleveland, will be much more skilled. than the Monsters They will need all the speed and skill that they can get. At the first misstep, Kapanen will be inserted. Simoneau is, at best, a mini-pest. Laval will need better.
