I was waiting for @Tyson to open the Laval Rocket GDT. Tyson you're in charge to open all the Laval Rocket GDT. Our good luck HFHabs member.

Now let's start this series with a win.

If Fowler goes a little crazy this year in the Laval playoffs and then continues that through the first two months of next year......we could be calling him up to the show next year making Monty or Dobes expendable.

He is such a key piece to the rebuild.

Monty and Dobes afford him all the time in the world to develop and develop properly.

A concern that I have is that Cleveland just played 2 playoff games while Laval hasn't played in almost 2 weeks...AND the series 1st 2 games are in Cleveland. There will be 13,000 people in attendance.

It's a best of 5, too?

I sure hope not. No reason to rush Fowler to the nhl.
It's not about rushing him. The kid was drafted in 2023. Has played two seasons in NCAA since that time. If he starts and plays well these AHL playoffs, AND he starts next season on fire......there is no need to let him develop any longer. Sure he will likely start in Laval for the entirety of next year, but the odd call up and exposure would be good.

Goalies take much longer to develop than skaters. Playing in the NHL after 2 seasons is rushing him.
Plenty of hyped goalies were brought up too soon (Knight, Hart, Levi, etc.), and it has hurt them in the long run.

The habs have a solid duo in Monty - Dobes, so there is absolutely no reason to rush Fowler. Furthermore, Fowler should be playing a lot of games, not just 20-30 games that he would as a backup.
