Yeah, he fanned on a pretty open side one-timer on the powerplay.


Crosby missed a bigger one, though. The usual powerplay chance for him.. Side of the net, tap in. He tapped it on Schwarz's back instead of in the net (Schwarz was at the other post).


Czechs are going on powerplay now, Coburn gets 2 for holding.
 
Canada's PK looks great. And as Maguire pointed out, wise play by Bergeron to kill some time.

Nice hustle by Crosby too.

Yeah, I noticed that too. He's been hustling, though.


The worst part of this game is that... I have to be at work in an hour and three minutes :( I won't know the result for another 7 to 8 hours.


Czechs are back on the powerplay... Way too many penalties until now.
 
Know that feeling, I was at work night of Czech USA and Czech Belarus games. Nothing but bad news from them.

He isn't the only one who missed some nice opportunities though. Team Canada's not playing bad but we sure don't look as good as we did in the past few games.

We'll need to be more disciplined too so we can exploit ther Czech's fatigue in the second and third period.
 
Message to Nigel Dawes: if you have the puck, that you are in front of the goal and that you are not sure that your pass will make it through, would you... SHOOT THE FREAKIN' PUCK? Puh-leaze... You're a goalscorer for cryin' out loud...
 
Good start for the game. However, I fear the Czech may tire towards the third period, and this could turn into another blow-out.

Kinda like the USA did huh... They shelled them in the third so I hear. Better to finish these guys early, if they hang around they'll could hang a loss on ya....
 
I'm sorry if this was already asked, but is there a radio broadcast of this game online?

Well, the odds this time are that the Czechs will be more tired in the 3rd and Team Canada shouldn't as long as they don't have to kill too much penalty and that our guys don't get injured. Obviously it'd be better to score early on, I never said the opposite, it'd be quite stupid to think like that actually.
 
Olesz looks to be trying to go after Phaneuf for that hit last year. Anybody else notice this? If thats the case, I want to see Phaneuf wreck him again.
 
Anyone else having problems with the feed through fan590? Cutting out and what not..
