You should ignore that one in particular.

Yeah, and will too. Anyways, enough of this game for me, I'll do something else waiting for the other TSN game tonight.

Congrats to Canada.

Not a Natural hat trick though , like Mcguire said...
Three goals in a row is a very common definition of natural hat trick. Maybe not the original, but that doesn't matter now, does it?

Looked like he returned to the bench from the locker room. Equipment trouble or injury?

Sutter is po'd at him for some half ass play.. Sutter does not stop sending messages to his players even though they are up big.

Why they don´t let crosby play more often?

Totally agreed.... Like the kid is the best offensive player on their team.. and he can't even show it because he's played 5:50 of ice in the first two periods..

If he was on Finland he'd be on 35 mins....

but whatever.. we're winning and at the end of the day that's all I care about...

Damn. I just went to eat some pizza quickly, come back and it's 7-0.

I feel for the Finns that are watching or listening to this game. Damn...

Listening on the radio they said Crosby came back from the locker room in some pain so that's why he's sitting.

Excellent period by the boys. Played really well for almost the entire period. They were a bit sluggish midway through the period. I really admire Sutter benching players who are not playing up to their potential. Canada needs to go hard 100% every single minute of every game this year. Crosby has definitely been stuggling today, along with Stewart. I think both are playing hard, just not well. Carter is playing very well. I am a little disappointed in Getzlaf despite his +10 statistic. I think I counted 3 different occasions where he lost the puck(the puck clearing the zone) near the blueline in the offensive zone when he was in a position to either pass the puck or dump it in. Dawes and Richards are playing well. Richards is absolutely unbelievable. Glass has played sharp, and the entire defensive unit is playing a very disciplined defense. The energy line is probably the best all around line for Canada at the moment. Go Canada go!

It's scary how this team is turning every win in a massacre.. I hope they won't choke against Russia or USA though.

I gotta say I've never been so excited byplaying against Canada! "It's the fear that wakes the life inside you!!!"

Did Crosby get a point on the 7th goal or not? Is he still scoreless?

If yes then he's tied with Ovechkin with 7 points.

Sutter's tough love approach, it seems to be working for this team as the players have been working their way out of the dog house. With the game well under control, he can afford to play around with lines and send little messages.

Now this is slaughter. Finns don't deserve the quarter final spot, I wish the Swedes win so that there would be some justice.

Yep, this is even worse than I expected. Canada is just so much bigger, faster, better, older, more skilled etc. etc. etc... No chance what so ever. I think we've had only like one realistic scoring opportunity. Anyway, it's one thing to get beaten, but it's another thing to give up so easily. We're not even trying for f***'s sake! Disgusting. Now I'm beginning to hope that Swedes will go to quarter finals.

Congrats to Canada. That's just one helluva team :handclap:

Bobby Clarke looks like one of those kids from the Crescendo rising crust pizza commercials with the oven burns on the face.

I think the problem was that Belle scored a goal in between Carter's 2nd and 3rd goals.

Just a small slip-up by Gord though, not a big deal.
