Team has looked dead and uninterested from the drop of the puck tonight which is a clear sign of the mood of the team overall, and it isn’t a good one. We need a major shakeup whether it’s firing the GM or making a big trade. This group just doesn’t have any fight in them anymore.

I had no idea we were 7th worst in the league coming into tonights game, haven't checked the standings really at all. Only going to drop further if we lose. Anyone with one f***ing eyeball and a half working brain could've guessed this would happen after "But they went to two back to back ECFs!" team was brought back again.

Shows over folks. Thanks to the Old Guard, but the time for severe roster overhaul was two off-seasons ago. Next best time is now.

We need a young(er) and intelligent GM who is going to start a re-build, that is the only thing this team needs

This is insipid.
A few things stand out for me.
Barzal is a big zero burger right now. Turning over puck repeatedly, and offering no offensive threat.
Horvat not much better. The first line is paid to perform, they are not.
Dobson is very timid. Needs to nut up and show some fortitude,
Zeeker is a non-event.
Obviously, the special teams are embarrassing.

I honestly think attendance at UBS in the coming years is going to be worse than the crappy years at Nassau, who is going to make the trek to that arena and the pain in the ass it is to see a boring and a bad team
At least the Coliseum was cheap. It's big $ to watch a losing team these days, and I can't imagine in this economy people are going to be falling over each other for the right to do so.

I think we’re in for a very long season. You can’t really start a rebuild in October/November, but come the trade deadline, I think you need to start the major overhaul that should have commenced much earlier

The old guard is the problem? So, it’s all the old guys that suck.

The PP is 28th in the league, care to guess who is the PP built around and gets the most ice time on it? Yet, it’s incredibly ineffective?

IB is on twitter seemingly saying some change might be coming. I lean towards Roy resigning if anything. I can’t imagine they fire Lou
