I remember Isaiah George getting a Blatant Reverse Hit Elbow to the Head around 2 months ago that went unpenalized...
Is there an Agenda to screwing the Isles?
I'd say No.
Do we seem to wind up getting screwed?
Yes, when there is a choice, The Zebras always error on the side of penalizing us.
Never get the benefit of the doubt it seems.
Game 7 too many men on the Ice in O.T. Loss proved that to me vs Tampa years ago.

Still in awe over the Cizikas and goaltending interference calls.

A 5'11 guy with bent knees and both feet on the ice just puts his shoulder into a 6'7" rookie who stupidly made himself as ragdoll vulnerable as possible.

The only thing the ref should have said here was, "Welcome to the NHL, kid. Keep your head up next time."

Absolute f$%&ing farce...

The feel-good Gatcombe story continues.

So refreshing...

That last play where Holmstrom gets the puck in front of Oettinger and Horvat is sitting wide open (ok, maybe with Pageau's foot in the way).... You know Simon has replayed that in his head a dozen times now.

I'd cut Simon some slack on that one. He didn't have much to shoot at.

I'm not even sure the shot would have beaten the buzzer, much less a pass and shot.
To the board in general:
I really don't get the major call. Seems to me that's something you want to reserve for the most blatant of hits that are no doubters. That one was so up for debate why not do 2 minutes and settle it that way? Why go full 5 minute major on that after a review. It just makes no sense. Islanders 3 - Stars 2 - Referees 2
