Anyone see where Barzal got his? Live I thought maybe it was in the family jewels but never got to see a replay so definitely not sure about that, hoping it was not instep or anywhere else that can break. It didnt look great the way the helped him down the tunnel. Hope he is ok.

Blocked a shot towards the end of the game and had to be helped down the tunnel. Also Mayfield missed the third period and OT..

Looked like Barzal got hit in the knee.

I’m glad they are winning, but the reality is they likely won’t sustain this, especially with the injuries. I give them credit for hanging in there despite all the injuries from the outset. The other reality is that even if they play themselves into a WC spot, they’ll likely be a quick out. For me, been there, done that, going back decades ago.

Remarkable that they've had so many injuries this year. It's crazy. Hopefully Mayfield and Barzal aren't serious,.

The ascent into no man's land is truly on...The further this win streak lasts the more likely is it Lou adds at the deadline and further empties the cupboard. As much as I love seeing them win, unless we become 2025 version of the St Louis Blues, it's bad for the club as a whole.

Can a guy play? Do they give 100%? Are they a good teammate? The Eagles are playing in the Super Bowl in a week partly (in large part, actually) because they drafted Jalen Carter when other teams wouldn't. If he's not the best defensive player in the NFL yet, he's close. Teams have to decide where they draw the line with off-ice/field stuff, and balance that with the goal of winning.

So far Lou is 3/3 on bringing in the ostracized people:
- Lehner performed well, then Lou probably realized he was a ticking time bomb and didn’t want to give him term. Thank the lord he walked from that mess.
- Roy - debateable on his performance, but he did coach the Isles to the playoffs (so did Lambert…)
- TDA - a talent the isles need, banished, Lou picks him off the scrap heap. He’s made a difference. Also makes Dobson and his bonehead defense forgetable. My guess is TDA is resigned.

Garth Snow was a good garbage picker too.

Understood. Except, TDA isn't even the best defenseman on the team, let alone the League. But it is what it is. I have no control over it, but I also don't have to like it.
