Way the season is going next game will be a shutout loss
team has been dominant at 5v5 since everyone has gotten healthy... yes, even with the combined 11-1 losses against Carolina and Buffalo.

they were also dominant at 5v5 before the injuries... yes, even with the shitty record.

It's the special teams that is holding them back, and until they overcome that anything is on the board.

I'd legitmately be dangling Cizikas as a "Swiss-Army knife type 4C" this deadline. Lou would probably get a haul considering his cap hit is very palatable. I would offer 50% retention to up the return...
A haul? Zeeker has one good game in what has been an otherwise miserable season for him and all of sudden he is gong to be bringing back the world. There is probably only one GM in the league who would be taken in like that and he works at UBS.

Rags are tanking for Hagens! Those b*stards how dare they.
Would Hagens have the balls to pull an Adam Fox and refuse to play for the team who drafts him so he can go home to his childhood team growing up? Would be fun to watch him do that and wind up with the Isles. Mainly to make heads explode in the land of homelessness aka MSG.

That was a dominant performance from the bipolar Isles.
Should have probably won 7-0. The disallowed goal was interesting, while the penalty against Cizikas that led to their first was pants. The second and third goals were bizarre. Particularly the third. We were right behind it and Dobson just seemed to watch it pass him. Was such an innocuous shot. Will need to check the replay.
The EN attempts provided some late humour.
Kids loved it as was their first win as actual Isles fans. When we went in 2018 they had no idea what they were watching. After game daughter said "that was so stressful". lol
Son got pics and signatures from Hickey and Clutter so he was happy. His next goal is a current player!
We went down to ice to watch warm ups at Isles end and there was a ridiculous fight. McLean threw a puck over glass and there was a minor scramble for it and it ended with some kid losing his mind as someone had touched him (heads up - it happens in crowds). Rather than settle him down the dad decided to be ballistic and started losing his mind too. Threatening people, pushing them, and knocking an older lady over. Was pathetic response to a very minor occurrence. As security came to sort it, the guy ended up right in front of me and I just said "settle down mate". He then decided he didn't like me either and while he was talking to security, he kept pointing at me and saying "I will f*** you up!". It was all quite nuts. Had a Pens fan come over and ask what happened and then he commented "he showed more fight than the Islanders players do'. I jokingly said he'd be next with those sorts of comments!
Memorable night!
