Not even sure why they pull the goaltender, I’d love to see a stat on goals for vs no goals vs goals against. I’m sure we are probably 2% goals for, probably 20% no goals against or for and 78% goals against. So 2 out of 100 games we extend to OT. I think we stand a better chance not pulling and probably get closer to 8 out of 100 into OT playing 5 on 5. This team is just toooo slow. They really need to rethink this roster quickly before even your Barzals and Horvats have Wally type value

We're basically at the point where this team needs it's front office, coaching, and scouting departments all cleansed.

Unpopular opinion but I’m starting to think Roy is not a good coach. Doesn’t seem to be able to coach these guys up.

He didn’t do himself any favours with the locker room by publicly calling out Engvall and recently telling us how he would have broken a stick if he was the goalie. Seems to be bringing it back to himself. I think he’s the right coach but wrong roster, I still believe there is something bad behind the scenes with Lou and him. I’m not sure what the exact quote was a few weeks back but something to the effect “I can only coach the players I have “ I read that to me this roster is not as good as my GM thinks

It's beyond clear the entire organization needs a change. The big club can't get it done, Bridgeport is completely inept they are 5-17-2, winless in 9 straight at home for those not paying attention there.

I thank Lou for what he did to bring this team back to relevance but they're becoming irrelevant again. Make the change.

I have held out hope for a very long period of time, and I continue to be let down by Patrick Roy’s coaching decisions. They just don’t seem any different than Capuano or Lambert.

There’s no creativity and zero identity.

I don't know the first thing about Roy's financial situation, though I imagine it is probably quite good or at least comfortable, so he must realize that in calling out Lou like he has, he has submarined pretty much any chance being hired by any other NHL level GM again. And while I'm sure he would love to succeed again at the NHL level, his actions strike me as someone who would really rather be back in the Q, coaching kids in a situation where he has total control.

They needed a point. This season more so than others is has so many mediocre teams hanging around. Get the point and ride your goalie in OT.

He stopped coaching in Q, he was pursuing NHL jobs without offers he liked. I think like it’s been speculated he wants to have input on roster and perhaps even GM and not coach. I’m not arguing he deserves this GM job, I do think he might get it though. They need to change this roster, change the leadership group. I would not hesitate to trade anyone on this roster, some guys i wouldn’t look to deal but isles have to to be open to anything. It’s clearly done, the third period late game stuff happens to much to say it’s something they can fix.
