I get trading the 4th for a 4th next year as the draft is in Montreal and we can only have so many contracts in a given year. But 150 and 214 seems like crappy compensation for the 127 pick.

These two pick trades probably mean that the players we were going to pick were taken. I get the feeling that has happened a lot to us this draft. It's a shame given that Timmins mentioned us potentially getting steals this draft.

You think you can still get a guy in your next tier at that rank and you feel like you have a couple guys that will be around in the 7th to pick as flyers.

But more than likely, one of those 7ths go for a 7th next year.

mid you look at the amount of draft picks traded this year. Looks to me like after 2nd round there’s no much. That or limited viewing due to pandemic.
