This has been same game pretty much all ten games, they have really played well enough to win probably all of them but there is no scoring and the PK has been abysmal. I really thought this was going to be a pretty good team but things are going to have to change soon.

This is where I'm at. The team is playing fine in 5 on 5. They're playing fine on PP. The problem is and has been scoring goals. I have to assume at some point they'll find it. But DuClair can't be the excuse. There's other guys here paid lots of money to score goals.

The PK is still booty cheeks and they aren't scoring. I get it, DuClair ain't playing. But that shouldn't send the entire team into a rut.

Who’s your target GM Perif? because I know we don’t want the nepotism choice.

Oh if Chris L. is appointed next GM it will be hell.

I don't even know who I'd appoint as I don't know the assistant GM/NHL front office ranks that well, but hopefully a new GM would be a young up and coming very intelligent exec who believes 1000% in the draft, elite talent (then character), and leveraging the cap instead of being up against it (with a fringe playoff team or worse).

I heard Garth Snow is looking for work.

They aren’t deep, Duclair getting hurt threw lineup off and they haven’t found mix since. They basically have at least four black holes offensively up front in Martin, Fasching, Maclean and Holmstrom, and perhaps five or six if you include Cizikas and Pageau(who I think has looked good and healthy). I don’t see it with Holmstrom, I get he was first rounder and he’s probably a meh NHLer but he isn’t a good offensive player.

And I heard that the Bellmore library is looking for volunteers.

Jokes aside, my good friend's kid plays on a team that Snow coaches and he spend last Christmas with him (like Snow was hanging out in my friend's backyard). My friend said, "Still under wang's contract with Isles. He's a very well paid junior hockey coach. Great guy though."

Don’t say rebuild around here. The folks here get shit scared of that thought.
I’ve consistently tried to avoid that term and have alternatively used “retool” but Lou wouldn’t listen to me over the last two offseasons.

I’m open to changing my mind though.

Wait for contracts to expire, which we’ve been doing for the last 2 seasons.
Yeah which is why Nelson and Palmieri haven’t gotten extended and probably aren’t here next year. Ten games in though can’t punt on season so just wonder if they try to do something to shake it up a bit especially up front. I again have no idea how they accomplish that, Perhaps they can get someone to take Engvall with a sweetener.

I think they started an eye towards future this off-season, they kept the picks and have tried to budget fill holes while trying to stay competitive. I really was kind of optimistic heading into year and look ten games in they have shown they can’t score and can’t kill penalties thus far but they probably could have won all ten games too.

Lou doesn’t have to punt on this season. It’s gonna happen naturally.
