Yeah. I've liked him lately, and I've been a pretty harsh critic of his over the past year.

I also am surprised Power isn't getting more love. Ive only watched 3 or 4 games, but he always impresses.

It's weird, UPL will make a glorious save, then let one in that I'll think 'I wish he had that one'. It took a bit to get going last year, so let's hope he finds his game again. I thought our 1-2 combo would be solid even without Reimer. Though, I do understand the opinion that Levi should be in the A getting more games. To be honest, I may have been wrong here, but I liked the idea of UPL and Levi being 1A/1B this season. It's not panning out so well right now.

I was surprised to see how much worse Levi is in the GSAE values than 6K.

Is there any proven source on your claim he didn't want to resign?
no. Both sides seemed like they wanted to resign, then all of a sudden, he is being moved. If both sides were trying, he would likely still be here. My guess is Sabres falling out of the race changed Mitts' mind.

So it's just an assumption? I'm going to assume it's Adams, his fault.

Call it my best educated guess. Maybe Adams decided Mitts wanted too much money, but he definitely did not sign for too much money in Colorado. If it was a similar deal, I think Mitts would still be here.

Defenders have largely stabilized in their own end, team defense overall is generally better
1st line
McLeod-Greenway pairing on the 3rd line
4th line not looking too overmatched that often

B
PP--still can't enter the zone, retrieve pucks, or create looks from high danger areas with any semblance of regularity
Cozens and Quinn, moreso the latter
Goalies have both been underwhelming
The Byram trade was such a massive whiff at the time and still looks terrible. He's not a steady-eddie type on defense and being paired with Power caps how often he can use his offensive skill

Then Adams could have easily said this in the press or just hinted with his favorite phrase "Players who want to be here".

I think he just didn't want to give Mitts the same contract as Tage and Cozens, thinking that three centers for 7 million was too much. Well, it seems he traded the wrong center.

The people bagging on Tuch is interesting. Besides the first 3 games I think he’s been quite good and a catalyst for that line doing the thankless work.

Meh.. it was for than 3 games that he was a world of suck for me. He has been better last few games but majority of games he has been garbage.
