Value of: Gaudreau vs Landeskog

Agreed, and would add Toews, Stamkos, Getzlaf, off the top of my head. Not to mention Eichel , MacKinnon, Laine etc. for their upside.

Gaudreau is in the same class as Pavelski, Kucherov, Duchene, Kuznetsov etc.....He is not a center piece but is a darn good player in his own right.

Screen shotted this post so in 2 years when Gaudreau is more valuable and outproduced more than all the guys you mentioned I can bring it back and show how naive you are. Gaudreau has improved every year since he was 17 and has shown that he already has improved so much in his first 2 years in the league. To say he doesn't have the upside is as those guys is ludicrous, those guys would be lucky to reach the level Gaudreau is already at. Laine looked great on North American ice. Your only argument to saying Gaudreau doesn't have "upside" is his size and the false narrative that he's bad defensively which is laughable. Gaudreau has made many people eat their words and yours will be on the list

I have never seen these 2 names mentioned in the same sentence before ever.
Landeskog is from Mars and Gaudreau is from Venus type of thing.

I agree some players on the list may be better now, though older and on the wrong side of their prime. I won't throw names out for more debate, as I think Gaudreau is a phenomenal player, but not bolding Tavares is criminal. The man can play.

To be honest, I was on the fence with Tavares as I really like him, I'm just not so sure he'll outscore Gaudreau despite playing in a weaker conference.
