The PS2 version of the first Deus Ex is up on the PS Store, it's "free" if you're a Premium Plus subscriber or 15 bucks if you're not
The original Deus Ex is my favorite single player game of all time. If anyone hasn't played it, you're crazy to not grab it while it's free.

It's also super cheap on PC and any PC can run it these days. There are some nice graphical mods for it that while it's not going to make it look super modern, will make it look a late PS2/early PS3 game instead of an early PS2 game.

I love the entire series, even the second game, and it's a bummer that it looks like we aren't going to get anymore any time soon.

I've only ever played Mankind Divided but that is one of the more underrated games of the last decade imo. Loved it.

Hope they at least remaster Human Revolution at some point, but it seems like the series is dead.

Nightdive is currently remastering System Shock 2. It would make a lot of sense for them to remaster Deus Ex next, since it uses the same engine and is a similar type of game.

Edit: I thought that they used the same engine, because of the interfaces being similar and the Warren Spector connection, but it looks like Deus Ex used UE1, not Dark Engine.

I literally pre-purchased it when it went up on Steam. Love Nightdive and I love the System Shock series. Played and beat the System Shock remake twice and I played SS2 years ago solo and with friends. Love that game, minus the bullshit durability thing for weapons.

Anyone played the Mafia Trilogy collection? It's only 12 bucks for the three games
Played the Mafia remake a year or two ago, it was alright. Played Mafia 2 on PS3 a long time ago and... I don't remember. Played Mafia III and enjoyed it, but when I wrote it up I realised how boring it was and if I were to play it now I'd probably have a nervous breakdown.

Yeah, I also beat the SS1 remake twice... in a row, which I never do. I finish a game and move on. I never immediately start a 2nd playthrough, but I wasn't ready to put the remake down and felt that I could handle a higher difficulty. I've played and beaten SS2 several times since 1999, but it's been about 8 years, so I'm looking forward to playing it again.

Wow. I just checked and the remaster comes out next week. I forgot that it was so soon.

And MP/Co-op is going to be showing up as well.

Only game that's happened to me was Alpha Protocol, I finished it then went back through and made different choices to see the areas I missed the first time through.

Not sure if you preordered the System Shock 1 remake but if you did you get SS2 Remaster for free.
