I'm currently playing TMNT on the NES.... awesome game but incredibly difficult... BTW I'm using the game genie and have the code for full health on pizza slices enabled (I'm a wimp)

also playing Duke Nukem 64 on the N64 on the "Damn I'm Good" difficulty setting

I had that TMNT game on the Wii virtual console. The water/swimming levels with the electric plants are so incredibly difficult, it's not even fun lol.

Jesus man, I gave up trying to play on Come Get Some (made it like 3/4 through the first level but died like 30 times). The game is definitely not very forgiving on the top 2 difficulties.

I'm stoked, although I think I will wait a few days and see if any crazy controversies arise.

REALLY hard to trust EA....I'm not making the Warcraft III Reforged mistake with Blizzard again.

I hope you are playing it, because this remaster is total opposite to Blizzard's failure. :)

I am currently on last Counterstrike mission with Allies where you need escort general Stavros, hard as hell.

I absolutely am!

I finished the Tiberian Dawn campaign (both of them) and am working on the Allied campaign in Red Alert.

So good, so much nostalgia. I forgot how hard some of the missions were....particularly the ones with limited units, no base, and that old school terrible pathing.

I'm definitely rusty.

Also, Kane lives in death.

Just wait for GDI's Covert Ops missions, Twist of Fate and Blindsided. :)

If Steam numbers are correct, game sold over 500.000 copies in first week:nod::nod: We want TS and RA 2 remaster's:D

RA and RA2 were my jam back in the day. I never got as deep into Tiberian Sun as the other C&C games (other than 4. Cripes) but I'd love the chance for a remaster on TS.

RA2 still plays pretty well to this day, honestly, but I would still buy a remaster in a second.

Frank Klepacki's soundtrack rockin' behind the constant sound of "unit lost" and "silos needed" is the best nostalgia trip I've been on in a while.

Purchased a year subscription to PS Now during the promotion (12 months for $41.99)

Started playing Spider-Man, as it's going to be off of PS Now in a couple weeks.

Really enjoying it so far. I've played all of the Batman: Arkham games extensively and was worrying about combat and mechanics being too similar, but it doesn't feel that way to me so far. I've only completed the first couple story missions and have been enjoying slinging around the city collecting backpacks and activating the towers. I'm finding the movement in this game a lot more fun than flying around Gotham as Batman. There's a lot more room for freestyle movement.

I've wanted to try this one out for a while now, but I not quite enough to drop the money on it.

Playing Final Fantasy Tactics on PSP. 30 hours in and I can’t tell if I like it or not lol. Not really a tactical RPG guy, the combat is stressful and it’s not relaxing to play like a typical Final Fantasy game. But there’s something very addicting about it, I can’t drop it.
Just wondering, did you keep going through this game?

Oh yes, yes, Hell march as evergreen :D... I would pay 20$ just for C&C's and RA music DVD.

Are you guys playing on Normal or Hard difficulty? I've played through the first half dozen missions on Hard, and while they weren't too hard, if you guys are playing on Normal and saying that the missions get hard, then I may just switch to Normal, myself, to avoid later missions being super hard.

Hey buddy! thanks for the reply!

have you ever played Hexen or the turok series? if you need a retro shooter to play I definitely recommend those games. South Park 64 is a fun shooter as well.

I don't know what it is about Duke Nukem 64 though... I always go back to that game if I'm having a bad day... maybe it's the memories as a kid playing split screen co-op and multiplayer with my little brother ... good times

I started on Hard and downgraded difficulty.

I found Normal to still be a decent challenge in later missions, but I'm not the best player to be fair.

Currently playing Maneater on Xbox One. It’s very good for what it is: a guilty pleasure kinda game. The concept is simple, you start as a baby shark and you must eat absolutely everything in your sight and evolve over time to eventually take on the redneck fisherman who killed your mother.

It’s pretty short for the price (50$ CAN) and the missions get repetitive after a while but it’s still a fun and unique game. I’d recommend it but maybe wait for a sale if you don’t see yourself paying full price for a relatively short game (took me ~20 hours to 100% and I explored/messed around a lot). If you like RPGs and sharks you’ll have a good time.
Just finished it on PC. 100% completion after a shade under 17 hours. The map looked a lot bigger when I started...yeah, it's short but it's definitely a lot of fun. It can be frustrating in the early going if you're used to games where you clear out one area before moving on to the next; Maneater doesn't encourage that. Took me a while to realize I was supposed to have left the first two areas sooner and then come back later for the tougher enemies and harder to reach collectibles. The upshot was my shark was leveled up higher than everything except the boss fish, so once I got past the initial frustrations with the control scheme and larger enemies I was pretty much invincible. Game got a lot more fun after that.

Fun element: the guy who does the voice for Cyril Figgis on Archer narrates the game for an insane nature show. Thought he was funny a lot more often than annoying.

Yeah, good game but too short to really justify the price. Wait for it to be on sale, but still a lot of fun and has a lot of character. Pro tip: don't be afraid to leave the newbie area and come back later for the harder enemies once you've leveled up a bit. Those f***ing alligators...I hate them so much...

They adjusted hard difficulty in the last patch.
I am playing on normal and some NOD missions in TD are hard even on normal level, but then again I play RA with Soviets on hard and I don't think it is too hard, but maybe it is just me, as I beat TD back in 90-s only one time, while RA I finished several times so memories of missions are more fresh.

There is a thread on reddit with diffirent paths...easier one's and harder one's. For example GDI 8A is not same as GDI 8B, nor missions objective nor difficulty.

Currently playing Detroit Becoming Human for the first time. It's amazing thus far, I feel like I'm controlling a top end TV show or something along those lines.

Already know I'm going to need to go back and play through this again!

I've played South Park 64 (loved it as a kid) and a little bit of Turok. I've heard from others that Turok has aged terribly? Never played Hexen though, but I remember when it was released on the N64.

The biggest strength of Duke Nukem to me is the map design. It's the classic Wolfenstein/DOOM format (find different colour keys to unlock doors, but with a lot of intricate maze-like map design and at times platforming elements). The later levels get a bit tedious because the maps become more and more complicated and sometimes the right path is not very obvious (interacting with a small part of a wall or something), but I always really appreciated the amount of due diligence needed to find the right path and the backtracking never felt boring to me. In this Switch version, I'm playing on the 2nd easiest difficulty and I am still struggling - I forgot how good the enemy's aim is, they hit me with like half of their shots lol.

Yeah, the alligators were by far the scariest creatures in the game lmao, especially early on when they can kill you in two bites if you're not careful. There's something unnerving about the way they swim too. I really enjoyed coming back to the bayou/lake areas as a fully evolved shark to return the favor.

Like you said: A very fun and unique game that got me hooked instantly, the only negative part being that it's definitely too short for the price tag but at least there's a lot of potential for future DLCs.

Yeah, way too short. Just finished a second playthrough to 100% in just under 11 hours.

But f*** those alligators. Seriously.

Jumped back into Breath of the Wild. This game is a slow burner for me. As in I've put in maybe 20 hours over the past year. It'll be a good companion for my 40 hour trip plus two weeks quarantine coming up soon.

Bought Splinter Cell 1, Pandora Tomorrow, and already have Chaos Theory. They’re all on sale right now and it cost me $7 for the first two games combined.

Loved the shit out of the first 3 Splinter Cell games. Actually a little surprised that this series stumbled as much as it did after Chaos Theory. I played the one after CT, think it was “Double Agent”...whatever the 4th one was and it lost its magic. Maybe there’s just only so much you can do with that series before it gets stale.

Still, the online multiplayer for Pandora Tomorrow was some of the most intense fun I’ve ever had. Chaos Theory too. If you and a buddy were good at that game online it was a total blast.

Started Witcher 3 a few days ago, have had in on steam for a while but never felt the urge to play it. Im really loving it so far, im a sucker for big open world games with tons of stuff to do.
Im about 25 hours in and it feels like i have barely started. Also bought Monster hunter: world and Assassin's Creed Origins on sale so have that to look forward to later.
