Games Tonight Affecting Sens

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
We are reaching the point where we are less concerned with the teams below us and more concerned with who of Toronto/Tampa/Florida we'll be playing in the 1st round. They're all tied at 89 points!

leafs 2 goals in the last minute to force OT

I think I want them to win the division so we can have the battle of Ontario. Also I think it’s a better matchup for us then playing either Florida team.

I believe you are right. My only reservations of facing the Leafs in the first round is the amount of fans who will try to occupy and conquer our home building. Staois and company need to somehow figure out how to make it very difficult for these out-of-towners to buy tickets.

Leaves fans are used to be humiliated, they don’t mind if it’s in Toronto or Ottawa or even Boston or Tampa, they’ll show up to see their guys get crushed and their dream evaporate for another season.

Leaves fans are annnoying, ugly and stupid, but they are loyal losers.

Not living anywhere near Ottawa my entire life I can only very rarely get to a game. Was it taken over in the ‘99 and early 2000’s series’? Hard to tell watching from TV but didn’t seem as bad back then as regular season games get nowadays.

I assume as Sens fans we don't want Montreal to make it into the playoffs (I know I don't lol).

So which of the teams chasing them/us do we hope overtakes them?

I think NYI are the best ones to cheer for out of the people below us. They have both tiebreakers on the Habs currently

Anybody but the Habs for me. f*** the Habs. Rags, NYI and CBJ are all fine.

I'm hoping CBJ makes it over MTL. I'm a huge Monahan fan and would love to see the organization make the playoffs after what happened in the offseason. They have a game in hand as well!

Sens have to take care of business vs an opponent that is dying to beat them. Sens have to be better in their end and not take penalties exposing their PK.
Habs have the easier opponent but they could get some inspiration from a coaching change... I expect the Habs to win.
This was so wrong and so right.

I thought with the 10 minutes of PK time in the 1st, the Senators were doomed, but we kept scoring right after the PK. To the Senators credit, the Wings PP really only looked dangerous on the one they finally banked one in off Kane.

The new coach bounce was in full effect but damn, from 3-1 to begin the 3rd to 6-4 final...the Habs know how to make a push.

I expect they won't be an easy out for the 'Canes tonight. That said, if both the Habs and CBJ lose tonight, it would be very, very difficult for them to catch us. A win tomorrow against the CBJ, and they are toast IMO.

One way would be for the Senators to win the first two games in Toronto!

TOAST is on my order!
