Out of town score board tonight basically moves our odds up as much a sens win. If sens don't show up in Chicago tomorrow they aren't serious.
And Winnipeg, EDM, Calgary, and VancouverWould be crazy if the Sens, Leafs and Habs all made the playoffs.
Capitals win is very likely if nothign else. The Sens just need to be smart.A Senator win tonight vs the Hawks and a Ranger's loss would be sweet. Go Senators & Capitals!
Doubt it. They've played about the same. Korpisalo's save % is only 1 point behind Swayman's, but Korpisalo has had the softer spot starts as the backup.Wow thank god they’re really committed to Swayman. Ironically if they’d play korpisalo more often they’d probably be ahead of us now.

They're playing one of the worst teams in the league. No excuses. I agree in general, but just the same, losses to bottom feeders down the stretch can be crippling even though they're not 4 point games. It would be nice to win, but ultimately, as I explained in the post from a few days ago, the games against the teams we are battling for a playoff spot are significantly more important. I don't see this game moving the dial much either way. The games against NYR and DET are coming up and are critical, those ones are basically must win. Let's hope we can get at least a point tonight.
I completely disagree. Tonight is more important for a few reasons. We're the clear favorite. The team is still a little bit fragile and tentative from that 5 game loss streak. With a win tonight, the team is feeling good and has a good chance against NYR and Detroit, which are much harder games. With a win tonight, if we lose one of those two NYR/Detroit games (which is the likeliest outcome), we're still in the hunt. With a loss against Chicago, those two games could potentially be season ending. It would be nice to win, but ultimately, as I explained in the post from a few days ago, the games against the teams we are battling for a playoff spot are significantly more important. We had a similar game in Chicago at a similar point in the season two years ago when we were one point out of a playoff spot. That loss was the literal turning point of that season.
