Perfect score board so far. If wings, jackets and bruins had won it would have added a lot of pressure despite what happens vs the hawks. Now we have a bottom feeder to beat to get back into the mix vs a few pts behind.
Isles win would put em 2 pts behind us, plus I think that could be enough to keep Lou from selling, which will just further overcrowd the sellers marketPerfect score board so far. They need to take it seriously and play a 60 minute game.Out of town score board tonight basically moves our odds up as much a sens win. If sens don't show up in Chicago tomorrow they aren't serious.

Hamilton injured now too. What if they get 50 shots on goal and lose 1-0 due to a horrible bounce?
Also, a FYI, with Hughes gone, and the Devils effectively playing .400 hockey since the new year, it would not shock me to see them fall to the WC.
Yeah Sens absolutely need to take advantage of having the easiest SOS remaining in the league. Statistically the Sens have the highest win percentage against bad teams out of all opponents in the WC chase, so yeah.Hamilton injured now too.
Obviously if the Sens outplay the other team and lose to getting goalied and dumb luck and bounces ill understand but if they play like they played any game after the break and lose its on them.
Also, the lower end teams will be trading away their top UFAs on Friday, so theoretically, the games will be easier.Yeah Sens absolutely need to take advantage of having the easiest SOS remaining in the league. That's true for the teams we're competing against as well. I just hope our strength of schedule isn't calculated favorably based on the numerous games we have remaining against teams that are fighting for the playoffs, such as Columbus and Montreal, which could have been considered "gimme"s some time ago but are going to be major dogfights now. On our remaining schedule I see a lot more of those than games against teams throwing the towel. Also, the lower end teams will be trading away their top UFAs on Friday, so theoretically, the games will be easier.

We typically don’t do well in Chicago. When did we last win there? And now they got Spencer Knight, they just beat LA and got rid of a distraction in Seth Jones. No excuses. Need to smash Chicago next game.
I agree...the boys need to watch the dead cat bounce in Chicago. I am also nervous. We typically don’t do well in Chicago. When did we last win there? And now they got Spencer Knight, they just beat LA and got rid of a distraction in Seth Jones.

Wasn’t it two years ago that they went in to Chicago in February with a small playoff hope and got beat 6-1 or something like that?I agree...the boys need to watch the dead cat bounce in Chicago. I am also nervous.
