This is why I thought it was so important to go for it right away. Also why all the talk about any playoff stuff just being gravy and extra bothers me. That's a loser attitude.. Doesn't matter if this is year one, this might be the best team we have for a while.

Pretty sure you can be happy with any result from here on out given the context of the team while also wanting them to push to get to the top this year. I don't see it as a mutually exclusive thing. It's possible to be satisfied even if they lose early but be sad because they didn't go further.

Very proud of the boys for their season. It's a start. I'm afraid we lack the experience, grit and leadership of the Rags. They have Shesty in nets. They also have the head coach that could have been ours if FitzHarris didn't lowball him and go with a cheap retread like Ruff. I can see an argument either way but playing Luke is the riskier choice. I would think he probably sits to start given that our left side has played well overall and Luke is also not even getting PP2 time, which to me indicates he may not be viewed as a regular yet.

Give me the high ceiling pick first (who has shown a good floor so far on top of that). If he's really bad then fine take him out but he should be in there to start.
