I got lucky, the previous owners were an elderly couple who only took it on Sunday drives. It only had like 9k miles on it when I got it which is insane.

No rust issues to deal with in BC I take it? A 5-6-year-old car is showing signs of rust here on the cold damp side of Canada.

The only issue I had was one Winter when my door was frozen shut, and then when I got it open, it wouldn't close and I had to drive to work holding my door shut lmao. It was only a 5 minute drive at 11pm though so it wasn't a huge deal compared to rush hour traffic.

Bc is bad with road salt and rust unless you live in Van
