I remember a few years ago Bergevin had a few spots open in the lineup to start the season and no prospect was ever able to establish themselves.

It was absolutely embarrassing.

I made that post because I have read plenty of criticism of our AHL coach, but the call-ups have stepped in here and played with heart and have not looked out of place in the NHL. I am not saying that any of them are star players but they are good role players. We didn't get that when Sly was coach.
