Jarry has gone through more than just a rough patch. Pens basically exiled him to the Baby Pens! They gave him a #1 goalie contract he has never lived up to. Jarry makes the Pens worse then Ned/Blomqvist. I would not be surprised if they bring him back up at some point to really tank for that gifted 1st pick overall.

I've said this several times in the past but for me this is the key play #1 in the 2018 playoff run.

Willy's hit switched the moment in that game. Pens stopped to play hockey, Caps were behind and won the game. Imagine if we lose this game, then the next one as we did is 3-1 for the penguins in the series and we know it's over.

Key play #1 in the '18 playoffs was Trotz switching to Holtby. Key play #2 was Eller scoring the OT winner in 2OT against CBJ's, other wise Caps fall to 0-3 in the series and probably lose that series and then don't even face the Pens.

Crosby, Malkin and Letang all wanted Sullivan back too.

The last two are cooked and Crosby will be 38 next season and is already slowing down.

They have no good young players in the pipeline to do the heavy lifting for the aging core.

I had to do some chores at end of first intermission so I was behind for second period and didn’t read here until start of third after i caught up. It was hilarious! Need to make trades at deadline. This guy and that guy sucks. Doom and gloom. Then we started to wear them down and took a 6-2 lead.

When will people here learn to just trust this team. Going to have a bad period. Going to have a bad game (or three). But the bones of this team is super strong and I think built for playoffs.

I finally had the time to watch the highlights. That breakaway goal to make it 8-3 from Duhaime was so funny. It was like a slow motion breakaway. Letang is cooked if he can't catch up to Duhaime there with the entire length of the ice and a head start. Love it.
