Laval always finds a way to elevate their play. They are quite surprising. But now they are facing some serious team. Let's see what will be the changes and how they play tonight.Laval has had a great run but they may be facing a team strictly built to win and not a team that is set up to develop young prospects.
This is a must win, it will be interesting what changes PV makes for tonight.
I hope you are rightLots of reactionary comments after last night's game.
I believe this has the potential to be a terrific series. Charlotte is a very good team and Laval is better than the last game's score suggests.
When your top 2 scorers are a combined -8 it pretty much describes the game. Their vets were head and shoulders better than our vets.A repeat performance of last night and the writing is on the wall. Would be great if some of the players played like future NHL players but none did last night
No one looked good from what I saw,but I looked away often in disgust. I get bringing up the plus minus but from what I see around here it's like a taboo subject and meaningless, but it does mean something if examined properlyWhen your top 2 scorers are a combined -8 it pretty much describes the game. Charlotte played too fast for Laval to be able to adjust, that is why the PP was so ineffective. No one looked good from what I saw,but I looked away often in disgust. Reinbacher and Engstrom were good. Nobody else was on the blue line.
Primeau couldn't make a save.
The Xhekaj line and Kapanen lines were good but weren't deployed enough.
PP was abysmal but that's mainly because the vets ruined every play.
Vincent didn't adjust
Of the 4 final teams Laval is the only one that has an organization with a top ranked prospect pool. Vancouver, Florida and Dallas are usually in the bottom of the rankings. This suggests they are more experienced lineups than Laval with less actual prospects. All part of the learning process.Laval has had a great run but they may be facing a team strictly built to win and not a team that is set up to develop young prospects.

For Laval to have had the season they had with so many prospects is amazing. Hats off to the coaches, the vets and of course, the promising young players.Of the 4 final teams Laval is the only one that has an organization with a top ranked prospect pool. Just to add, the first two rounds Laval played teams with top prospect pools in Columbus and Buffalo. so similar situation and the veterans did make a difference. This time, they are facing a team built with veterans and experienced tweeners so it will be a real test to see if Laval tweener players like RHP, Condotta, Gignac can find a way to contribute to offset this advantage Charlotte has experience wise. They are icing a team that has over 1000 games of NHL experience if I remember correctly what was posted during the game. For Laval to have had the season they had with so many prospects is amazing. did Vincent confirmed the goalie for tonight?
I almost would bet he plays Primeau again. It will either be Fowler, Primeau or Marco Marciano.
Yes, Vincent did confirm that he will have a goalie in net tonight.did Vincent confirmed the goalie for tonight?
