Mac is the only forward worth a look during this game. He's part of the mix. He's been better than all the other wannabies today. He's so big, even the supposed rough and tough Sens are a sinch for him.

Yep made some smart decisions with the puck esp that play to Byron and parked his ass in front of the net.

Lindgren does have an interesting potential. It will be a very interesting year in the lower level goaltending if Condon passes waivers. If not, Lindgren will probably be starter with Fucale backing him up.

Condon is history.. He had an incredible opportunity last year and blew it after a great start, now he's ordinary.. I'd want him traded and let Fucale play down there. With Montoya ;)

That AHL line-up just played a better power play than I've seen all of last season. Looks like we'll finally see something potable this year.

But is he better than Shaw, Carr, Andrighetto, Byron, Flynn (Danault, Lehkonen play LW only)?

I think he brings more than the bolded. The org needs to take off the kid gloves for smaller players that they have a lot of. Sucks for Ghetto because he didn't get enough of a chance the past 2 years but yeah I think the lineup is better with Mac. Definitely.

It was way too much to ask of him last year. He had 99 pro games experience (and not a single NHL game) and never had to play more than 48 games in a year. He went pretty fast from NCAA back-up to starter to ECHL starter to AHL starter to NHL starter. He's having the Dubnyk syndrome of having played for a bad team and lacking confidence, we'll see if he can get back to NHL back-up level.

I still think Condon can be a NHL level back-up, but I think both Lindgren and Fucale can be better than him.

Lernout is really a pain in the ass to play against physically. Still unsure if he has what it takes to become a regular though.

He is only 20 so let's give him another couple of seasons to develop. 6'4 215 and skates well. He has NHL upside

man i love Danault, such a solid player.

Mitchell/Danault/Byron can pot us 30 goals this season while playing defensive minutes.
