Rielly has a sneaky way of pretending to hustle back into a defensive scramble only to get there half a second too late. It’s sheer laziness masquerading as second effort. The guy is unprofessional in his preparation, completely out of shape and locked into job security.

Domi seems like a guy who likes the lifestyle of being a Leaf more than the work. Really misrepresented who he really is as a player, got his contract and went on cruise control.
Somebody tell me they saw Morgan Rielly almost ice that puck even though he had ample time and space. I know Im not crazy
I think he wants to do well, be a difference maker. Clearly he peaked here last season... which if we look back over his career seems to be true for every stop he has made. Unfortunate, because he is the kind of player us fans could really get behind if he was productive.

Nope, if you placed two mediocre players around both guys...Marner would come out on top.
Sure Matthew's might get 40-goals but maybe 30-assists max.
Marner can do everything, snipe, create plays, forecheck, separate himself(opens up the ice), plays defense
Mitch can turn anyone into a 20+ goal scorer, facts! He would get 50+ assists without Matthew's and still put up 25+ goals
