CHL guys are far more talented but the Americans have played with eachother more. Should be a good matchup but I predict chl wins both games

Kinda weird seeing Fiddler go up against a USA team (I said kind of, knowing he has also played for Canada at youth levels).

I assume the CHL team technically doesn't exclude non-Canadians form playing? Although there are no euros and every single other player is Canadian so how is eligibility determined? Is Fiddler only eligible because he is a dual? Is Hockey Canada trying to make this a mini-showcase for Canadian talent versus a "you only have to play for a CHL club" type thing?

Also...Misa-Desnoyers-Martone seems like it is going to be an absolute monster of a line. Sticking Desnoyers between the two OHL studs - that line is going to have everything you could want from a playing style standpoint.

So far team CHL is completely dominating. Lakovic, Schaefer, and Murtagh have all stood out to me in a good way, so far.

On another note, I’m loving this tournament so far. Hope we see this every year.
