First game I've caught since the break. Maybe it's the extended time away, but its just tough to watch. Outshot 14-4, they are somehow noticeably significantly worse at link-up play than a team that's barely ahead of them in the standings. Cant make a clean tape-to-tape pass in the neutral zone, constantly running into each other in all 3 zones, scrambling around covering absolutely nobody on the PK...

They have the organizational "system" of a beer league team. It really feels like a lot of that lands directly on Bylsma and his staff.

Game 60 already. Hard to believe. I concur, play the young guys...give a taste of the big show. Nothing to lose, and we might possibly see what we have to work with next year.

Yeah, it’s disheartening to see.

Tbf tonight they look like they emptied the tank against Florida and Tampa. They looked alive in both those games even if both the Panthers and Lightning are better teams.

But yes, it's hard not to look at Bylsma and especially the D staff. The Kraken really struggle against the bigger teams (roster issue); the board battles are such a battle for most of the players the ice is always tilted against the Kraken - on top of that they can't easily find open ice because they are boxed out. The stretch pass scheme is easily read by good NHL teams (Bylsma), the Kraken's forecheck is very light weight (roster/system), the overall organizational system is not NHL level (Bylsma).

That's a killer goal. How often have we recovered from a three goal deficit?

This team leaks so many shit goals. That was such a shitty change while the Blues still had possession!!!! of the puck. What was Burakovsky et al thinking there (nothing at all I'm sure).

I'm streaming a bit behind but the Kraken players have completely stopped skating and are not even trying anymore. Poor Kokko.

I do wonder if this is it for Bylsma.

I was not watching or following the game. Just went to nhl.com and am now wondering what the hell is going on?

FIgured, oh maybe Kokko started the game. But no, it was Joey.

Could anyone watching mind telling me what is going on?

6-0 at the end of the second...

Something needs to change.

The Kraken came out completely flat and it went downhill from there. They've been terrible. It's partly completely outcoached, partly mental (not bought in), partly out of gas (I hope). But they don't look like an NHL team and they don't have NHL structure.
