Wasn't our last game against them special? Down 4 only to tie it up and then go on to lose easily for the tank. My favorite type of tank game. The Boys don't get down because they know they can come back at will.

At this point, im fairly certain that Armia doesn't play as good as he can because he's shy and he's afraid and suffers when in spotlight. So he plays good enough to get paid and stay in the NHL but bad enough to stay in the shadows.
He only releases his full potential when in games that he considers meaningfull enough to go after game interviews etc

Edmundson is back. He will be with Xhekaj. Wideman is scratched. Hoffman and Dadonov scratched again.

Edmundson over Wideman was the obvious move and when Matheson returns he pairs up with Eddie and Xhekaj goes to Laval. Wideman stays up as a 7th D and Xhekaj is waiver exempt and can move up if a LHD gets hurt.

I thought the same thing at first but with our depth on the left side currently and with our prospects someone will need to be able to play the right side. Doesn’t hurt to try and see whose best at it and it can give Xhekaj more opportunities now and in the future

Agreed, Xhekaj played a lot of RD last year in the OHL playoffs and him playing on the right side would be great for roster building.

Gotta start preparing for that Hutson-Xhekaj pairing anyway Even Hutson in a recent interview talked about X saying that it’s great he’s on the team to protect smaller guys
