GDT: Game night - Caps (no letdowns please) vs Wings (fighting for a spot)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. For a guy brought in for big goals around the net that was not clutch by him. Shot it right into the goalie if he lifts the puck it goes in
 
Last three Caps with 30-goals in the same season?
I had to check, but the Pres Trophy winners in 2009–10 (Halaked) had Ovie, Nicky and Sasha. It's possible there was another season after that; but that was the only one in which Nicky topped 30.
 
Stuck in the airport, shoddy reception, relying on box scores... This does not inspire confidence...

Knuble had 29 that year. And Semin had 40 to go with Ovi's 50. Crazy good year. Shitty outcome.
 
I am really getting tired of the HF boards interface - it seems to be getting worse.

Might not be the only one given how we're 2/3rds of the way through the game and this GDT is a single page

Well, my title and intro sucked (tried!). That could be contributing to the lack of interest too. Just don't get why the Caps don't look interested in putting this away.
