Geno is score. Geno is life. Geno looks in the prime of life! Team needed a little nappy nap in the 2nd, came out huge in the 3rd. Ned looked solid all game. Line 2 is on fire. Rust needs to get the rust out of his head when hes not scoring. Bottom 6 looks rough, Carter is yuck. Be more disciplined and stay out of the box boys. Onto the next one!

The top 6 is f***ing nasty.

Need to clean our five on five play a little bit. A little choppy getting up ice and it's hurting our ability to establish possession.

Nice to see the goaltending look solid so far through three.

Nice to win a b2b which I think is always going to be a struggle of a situation with how old this team is.

Bottom six needs to at least occasionally score. Need a lot more from them offensively. But they're doing alright defensively at least.

PP looked great. Shoulda had one if not two PPGs tonight.

For those asking, L1 was out there so long because they kept icing the puck and then failing to clear and get off the ice.

They got lucky they didn't get burned.

Sullivan needs to be less reliant on Sid's line late in games.

That said, Calgary can be frustrating to play against because of the size of their defense. Great job by the Pens to stick with it and strike quickly. Lots to like out of the last two games, though a fair amount to fix.

Also like that there have been adjustments in both games, either by the coaches or by the players. They're sensing opportunities and/or not waiting to address issues.

Solid first game from Ned(which is my nickname so, much love).

Geno and Smith look great. Smith really surprised me with that behind the back play to Gene on his goal. Great play.

Only negative is not being able to get the puck up the wall and out. Big negative. On most nights that would have lead to some real trouble. But overall, good stuff on the second of the b2b. Keep it going. Have a few days to work on some things.
