This is not the change I was looking for. This is taking it waaaaay too far. As if it is an attempt to simply proove Bednar is right too keep to his normal stack the top and next man up mentality. Seriously...just move Rants to the second line. That's all that needed to happen...but that was before JD got hurt. At this point the change should be to spread Makar's defensive pair between the top two lines instead of continuing to play exclusively with Nate. Especially since Girard has been playing so damn well so far too.
