I said it earlier this month and will reiterate... If there is a way to keep Orlov after Nikishin comes over, do it. We need to be moving on from Burns

I will say, we all want Svech to find more “Tkachuk” in his game, but every time he dials up the Tkachuk-meter even by one, he gets 4 minor penalties for breathing on guys.

I don’t know how Florida gets away with it except I guess there’s a ceiling to how many minor penalties a team can get called in a game and the refs come into Florida games with a different chippiness barometer.

He typically gets his penalties through stick work versus hitting someone (like 19 did to Necas). I’d be ok if 37 hit verhaghe, Barkov , forsling, and gave them a good pounding. He doesn’t play like a power forward.

Even with shit goaltending, and Martin HAS been shit, that's a f***ing layup of a chance for a goal and they pissed it away. Possible they play with urgency if it's 2-1 instead of f***ing around at 3-1 but that was still the worst pp sequence I've seen from them all season considering the advantage in ice space
