That’s a good option too, could try Ras on 1st or 2nd line then.

Just do not play Veleno higher than 4th line. He does nothing to justify any minutes, I‘d rather scratch him.

Veleno is left wing on 2nd line. But that's the projected 3rd line according to daily faceoff

Well at least Lions are doing work. I'm expecting our defense and team to get exposed badly later by the Oilers.

You’re probably right but the Red Wings have been a bit of a trap game for the oilers the last few seasons. Hopefully that can continue.

Play Johansson you cowards.
They still haven't since a time ago? Also is it possible that we don't get outshot again. Can they try better and be the better team? It's becoming unacceptable. It's absolutely the way Lalonde has the team playing. And it's not like a small margin either it's like a ridiculous amount.

McDavid always owns us. I mean he owns every defense he plays against, but it feels like he especially enjoys walking our pylons in particular

This is one of those rare games where you look at the two blue lines and say: Red Wings have a clear advantage.

Of course, the forwards tilt toward Edmonton -- their top 3 lines are much better than ours, our 4th line is a little better than theirs. Goalies are pretty even, maybe a slight advantage for Detroit.

If we can stay out of the box and contain Edmonton's two big guys, we have a decent chance at 2 points. We need big mistake-free defensive games out of Larkin, Compher, Seider, and Edvinsson.

I don't know but Tarasenko Kasper Berger is a great third line if they can build chemistry.
I like that line as well. Would think they would want to keep our 3rd pairing away from this line. Scary defensively. Kasper may be the best defensive option out of the bunch

Osgood just said that the DeBrincat has started the season "on fire". Um, I'm not sure I thought THIS was "on fire". Are my expectations for this player too high? I feel like he should easily come close to 35-40 goals annually?
