I'm probably in the minority when it comes to Ottawa, but I prefer Bob Cole to Dean Brown despite the blatant **** ups. He focuses on the game, doesn't talk down to his audience and his voice is epic.

I think people take him too seriously, same with Don Cherry. And the people here who complain are perfectly capable of filling in the gaps that Cole leaves with their own hockey knowledge, so I don't really get it.

Whats wrong with personality? Cole is like a robot that makes so many dumb mistakes.

I prefer anyone to Dean Brown and Potvin, I 'm really tired of their story telling EVERY game. Usually end up changing to the away feed.

I just don't like their voices, hard to listen to. Watching other broadcasters on centre ice really gave me some perspective and there are so many easier to listen to teams out there. Wish we had Dallas' broadcasting team.

You're crazy listening to other announcers makes me appreciate what we have. Potvin takes so much slack around here when honestly he's one the funnest colour guys. Sure he messes some stuff up but have you ever turned the audio off and tried to be the colour guy ? I suggest you all try it and see how hard it really is. He's been doing it how long ? You guys will give prospects years and years but if your new colour guy can't adjust to a new job ?

I have to say Potvin can be a little biased at times but who wouldn't want that from their team of announcers ? Regardless one thing I love is Denis most of the time calls it how it is, if we are playing well and exciting he's genuinely excited and I appreciate that. At times when we are playing boring and poorly Denis calls it how it is and it's hard to talk excited when nothing good is going on, but thumbs up to Potvin for trying.

I like Pierre McGuire + Gord Miller. They're so cute together. All them freak outs and stuff.

Scott Ferrall did Atlanta radio for one season, when we had Barasso, and he was by far the funniest radio guy I've ever heard.

As the Sens em-Bourque on life post-Spezza, the offence needs to avoid its previous bouts of nar-Cole-psy and Deharnais-s our will to win. The offence over the past little while has been hot and cold; black and White; full of vision, then as blind as Helen K-Eller. So, here's the way it needs to go down: Sens need to get tough. We need our boys to have their pre-game meal of two Bouillon cubes, wash it down with some Kaberle-it (Kabermilk for you anglos... that sounds wrong.) and make Montreal pay the Price.

GO SENS GO.

I enjoy how appalled Potvin gets at the refs when they make bad calls/miss obvious penaltys.

When Potvin gets pissed it makes me less angry about the call.
