1st Line looked decent that period. They are starting to build chemistry. They are playing well defensively. They are starting to cycle the puck.

I agree, but Kovy definitely seems to be in slump mode. Looks frustrated and not having the best decision making on top of being a bit snake bitten. He needs a spark. 2nd line looks fantastic, tons of chemistry between Patty, Clarkie and Henrique.

The 2nd line is playing great tonight. Overall though there were a lot of forced passes in that 2nd period, trying to hard to make the perfect play. I know Lundqvist is good facing shots 1 on 1 but I'd rather them take the shot then cause a turnover because of an ill-advised pass.

That's my only complaint though, other than that it's been a good game so far. Keep it up boys, one more period!

Lou runs a tight ship. I am still impressed that nobody knew about the Zajac signing before he wanted them to, even though it was four months in the making.

Ya one problem, trying to get to fancy when they have no need to. I'm not complaining to much about the 2nd line doing it right now because they aren't far off with those passes. It is the 1st line that shouldn't be doing it right now. They need to build a bit more and shoot more before they build up to the fancy crap.

I challenge you to play 27 minutes of hockey in a game essentially every other day while on a slump and look any more interested. Guy is tired, needs some rest and help on the top line to take the pressure of off him.
