It's because Ekholm was recovering from that hip flexor...once Ek got healed up, Bouchard's game got better. He was at the start of last year too lol. Then he shot up. Weird team. Look like a** 2 years in a row for 50% of the games. Can't pick corners either
I wasn't disagreeing with you btw haha. Was just moreso clarifying what I really meant by the post they had quotedAgreed. I said earlier that Pickard has been outstanding. We were dominated that first period big time
Stupid name too.
My only answer is they are depressed lol. Haven't "got that joy back" yetIt's because Ekholm was recovering from that hip flexor...once Ek got healed up, Bouchard's game got better.
not sure what;s up this year, and not just with him..
You’ve earned a block . Take it to the other thread.Get broberg and halloway back but blues will ask for at least 2 first round picks .
agreed, in general, he's been our worst D this year.Tonight? Bouch has been consistently our 4th or worse D-man every single game, and this guy wants 11m a year
I said it above, kind of tongue in cheek, but I think it has played a part. This team has way too many guys who feel sorry for themselves and sulk
Same thing last year after losing to Vegas
Compare it to Florida last seasons , they got close and had their hearts broken but they used it as motivation and came out flying
This team just looks disinterested/ exasperated minus a couple players
I don’t want to just blame it on Connor but the team goes as he goes, and he definitely wears his heart on his sleeve. He really needs to get going and bring some good vibes to the team
Oops anyways I think it still goes to overtime .You’ve earned a block . Take it to the other thread.
Ps - it's HOlloway.
I bet Vegas doesn't get those goals overturnedVegas literally shooting 10% higher on the season than the Oilers.
I blame Gary,
Vegas has been a wagon offensively. They are doubling our production or very close to it. DId not think they would do thatVegas literally shooting 10% higher on the season than the Oilers.
I blame Gary,
Should any of them be happy the way they are playing right now?I said it above, kind of tongue in cheek, but I think it has played a part.
A lot of them don't look like they have any joy or happiness playing right now
Nope. This is a playoff team. Very little faith around here. What is this? Game 12?This is a lottery team.
LOL, the oil would be 4-1 down if that was the case.Get broberg and halloway back but blues will ask for at least 2 first round picks .
Oh ya I know haha!! Cheers!I wasn't disagreeing with you btw haha. Was just moreso clarifying what I really meant by the post they had quoted
When you're getting outplayed by f***in Troy Stetcher (no offense to him, I honestly really like how he plays with how small he is compared to your average dman) on a consistent basis, with the draft pedigree Bouch has he should honestly be embarrassed. If he continues to play like this and his contract starts with anything over like an 8 it'll be an overpay. If Bouch isn't scoring he's basically useless. Ekholm makes up for Bouch's defensive deficiencies but the Viking can only stop the boat from sinking for so long.agreed, in general, he's been our worst D this year.
I meant right from the start. Even pre-season they looked off.Should any of them be happy the way they are playing right now?
I wonder if it's the pressure from the season he had last year. When you're getting outplayed by f***in Troy Stetcher (no offense to him, I honestly really like how he plays with how small he is compared to your average dman) on a consistent basis, with the draft pedigree Bouch has he should honestly be embarrassed. You need management who can identify this. You don't just give Bouch a sh** load of money. He would have to be an 80+ point dman every year minimum to command what he reportedly wants. When you're getting outplayed by f***in Troy Stetcher (no offense to him, I honestly really like how he plays with how small he is compared to your average dman) on a consistent basis, with the draft pedigree Bouch has he should honestly be embarrassed.
