It's the kind of game where it was fun to watch because neither team played much defense. Lots of great chances.

That was a nice and safe play by Seguin to set up Duchene.

I know half the negative warriors on here complained about Dumba and Lyubushkin, but Lyubushkin is basically Hakanpaa, but plays simpler and safer, and Dumba's nasty style is something we've lacked.

Obviously, when we trade for Andersson and push everyone down, this D core will rock!

Yeah, Lyubushkin in his limited role has been perfectly fine. No complaints here.

And Dumba is also fine most of the time. It's the dumb penalties and once a game terrible turnover. I guess the upside is he's not getting routinely beaten, which was my biggest fear.

I agree that Mavs hasn't been that impressive, which I expected.

For how many years have we hoped the Stars play like the old Red Wings and skate circles around the other team. These last two games have been as close to that as I can recall. It is fun to watch, and whether it's the goalies or the D, we don't give up too many goals by playing fancy.

Borque got injured in pre-season, and then came back too quickly. It's not even been 10 games

Bourque took a year to get up to speed in the AHL as well - he will be fine. Won't be a Stankoven/Johnston type but he will be good
