By far our best game today. The youngins are really progressing and as someone mentioned earlier Murray is looking like a seasoned vet out there. Team is progressing, lets keep it going.

I don't give a damn what Wiz did wrong tonight. He clearly felt like **** and still wracked up 1+2. I give him a pass tonight.

Great game.

Agree.... Leaf fans take defeat with respect... as they have been losers for decades...

An easy win for the CBJ at home if they feel like playing NHL hockey...

Toronto is playing well, Jackets will need to be sharp to win. Should be a good game.

As for tonight I thought the Jackets played much like last year with good overall team defense preventing NJ from getting a lot of good chances.

Devils look like a bad team to me.

Friday will definitely be a game to see where we stand...a good battle among two teams fighting for a spot at the end of the year...

Nice work tonight. The passing is looking so much better than it was a week ago, and what about the Wiz getting 1 + 2? When I have the flu I lay in bed with porn and a bottle of bourbon. Wiz gets the third star.

Very excited for Friday night. I think the next seven out of eight are at home; time to take advantage, eh?

CBJ in the games I've watched: 0-5

CBJ in the games I've missed: 4-0

Needless to say, I won't be watching any more games until this streak is broken.

I hope you won't see a single Jackets game this season any more :sarcasm:

I liked Wiz better when he's sick than healthy.
BTW the Jackets haven't gave up an ES goal for 2 games in a row now.

The Devils would be the slowest NHL team if the Sabres weren't existing. The Jackets offense is not that good, but New Jersey offense is not existing. And the Rangers have lost 0:4 to this team.

Its hard to tell if we were good or if the Devils are just awful.

A couple things I don't like to see when we're protecting a two-goal lead:

1) Foligno danglin around the neutral zone. Not the place or time and he should know that. Especially now that he's getting time with Gaborik and Anisimov he should try to be a compliment and not try to do so much.

2) Duby being dumb. Why would you take that penalty? Can't you just take a hit?

You do realize that Toronto is leading the Eastern Conference (as of this moment)?

Of course, if you build up unrealistic expectations it's probably a little easier to complain if it doesn't go the right way....

Johansen was outstanding tonight. I sit in the twice defend zone and his play was great - physical, one of the best forwards now at the getting the puck out of the zone with some nifty stick work. Kid's going to be a beast once he fills out a bit more.

I think he's been our 2nd best forward this year behind Cam.

He's already 220+. I'd say his only roadblocks are mental.

I keep saying to anyone who will listen - wait until he figures out he's 6'3" and 225...when he realizes how to use his size, he is going to be a bear to deal with, not unlike another #19.

Gaborik does have 9 points in 8 games including 4 goals which would put him on a 40 goal trajectory...

I'd say Johansen is third. He's been our best center though, just a notch above Dubinsky.

I almost ranked Gabby ahead of Joey, but what Joey brings in all ends of the ice makes him above IMO. But I could see the other way too.

Am I the only one who liked Duby's show of aggression there? If he's really captain material like we hear, I don't think he didn't understand the time and place of that; but taking exception to a hit like that in a time like that could have fired the team up (more) and implied his confidence in the team picking him up for the penalty.

Or it was a flash of anger and I'm not going to knock him for it. Not on a 2 point, +3 night and on a team that has needed that kind of moxie for a long time now.

:dunno:
