This might be the game that lights a fire under the Bruins, I hope it is obviously, I believe the team is a lot better than it looks right now. I would also relish the Leafs losing and panic setting in, not the other way around. Ugh...Berube and Matthew cams tonight.

Hoping for a nice big Saturday night win!

The sway negotiations and the distraction it caused stopped this team from improving significant pieces that were missing. Sweeney and neely should be responsible bc they are in charge and caved but I can't fault them completely.

Thanks for the HNIC theme song. Took me back to my childhood in upstate NY. Hockey was in my blood and I'd watch those games with eyes like plus signs. Good times.

Montgomery was still playing AHLers in the final preseason game. That is on him.

Yeah. The players are pros, paid very well. They need to step up, especially the D and the middle 6!

Tonight will say a lot to me, Perfect timed game.

Win and we are on our way, lose? Shake up time.

I just want the team I love to work hard and look like you give a shit. This is quickly becoming an unlikeable team.

Its been a few decades since I said this.

Lets go boys nows the time!

Hard to believe their PP could be worse than ours - but it is.

I also thought that was a missed opportunity for a tuneup. Maybe he just wanted to avoid injuries in a meaningless gane.
There were a bunch of injuries in the preseason
The Bruins have looked like they were not ready for season
But the penalties are killing them, McAvoy and Pasta every game are in the box.

Why isn't the game on ESPN+?
NHL Network took it. They do that throughout the season. I have Hulu as my normal TV provider and ha to get Sling just for the NHL network so I can watch the Bruins when that happens. Unfortunately for this game it almost certainly means we'll have to put up with the HNIC feed, which I hate.
