LT was solid in a hostile environment when we needed him to be, and if you asked me Friday night after game 3 whether that would be possible on Sunday, I’d have said no. So good on him

I didn't notice AA playing poorly, but it seems he didn't have a very good game:

That's a bit misleading. He was 0.0 GF and 0.11 xGA. Basically very little happened while he was on ice (and as others have accurately pointed out AA saved our bacon with the 3 on 1). No xGF for that, but that was a great play.

It was right on the line that’s for sure. Impressed the refs didn’t book him. Happy the guy didn’t get injured. That’s hockey.

I think it's simpler than that. They're like people who prefer to short stocks. They like predicting disaster and being right more than they enjoy when things are good.

Alot of players go bare foot and no socks. I think its gross but alot of players do it.

I was a Caps fan who grew up in Montreal. When I started following hockey, the Habs were a bottom team with no stars while Ovi was a rookie phenom. Easy choice, no regrets!

I couldn’t imagine an angry Tom Wilson coming at me like that. I think it was right to not be a penalty. Just a viscous legal hit.

Great choice. I was a Canucks fan but Ovi and co convinced me to change things up in late 2000s. Montreal is a lovely city, went there for the F1 race back in 2022 and I would definitely go again, just probably wouldn't wear my Caps jersey.

One type of player I miss having on the team is Konowalchuk. God that dude would go through a wall to win and won every puck battle it feels like.
