Don't love AA getting ~9 minutes, but I also get that road match-ups are hard.

Having said that, what a fantastic road hockey game. The caps did not play their best (see: PP & PK), but they stuck to their plan, played physical, managed the puck very well, and actually finished their f%&(ing chances for a change.

Dewey was exceptional. I also spotted Beauvillier out late with Dowd/Dewey a few times. Wonder if that's a preview of game 5 with Protas back on the top line? A man can dream.

I didn't notice AA playing poorly, but it seems he didn't have a very good game:

Wondering if the guys that made card board cut outs of Wilson left them at the seats or took them home. CMM has been so good in this series

It's a tough choice between him and Beauvillier for me. Wilson making that hit adds to his score lol. The garbage goal by Duhaime was so nice, almost like Otto's OT goal against Vancouver.

Makes me wonder why they would even support this team in the first place.

AA may have saved the game on that 3-1. We would have be F'ed if they scored.

As a fan I love to see guys who team play and wait for their opportunity. Went from nacho duty to high pressure playoffs.

Hell yeah! didn’t get to join the thread today but i was able to watch the whole game while navigating planes on way back from a Caribbean work trip. Was surprised i got in on my Max app on plane.

Seems there was plenty of negative nelly’s but the light prevailed once again! Just can’t count this team out. First 5 minutes of third we looked like we couldn’t crack into the zone. And then we did.

McMichael has been top notch this series. And really all season. He has a lot more dawg in him that i thought. Chychrun has also surprised me which how much he mucks it up.

Keep playing hard on the puck boys!

I think it's simpler than that. They're like people who prefer to short stocks. They like predicting disaster and being right more than they enjoy when things are good.

Caps played a very good road game. Didn’t give up a lot of chances and kept the crowd in check for the most part. They turned it on in the 3rd period like they’ve done all season.

Use the next couple days to fix special teams and get Protas ready to go. If they come out on Wednesday ready to play, the series will be over.

Imagine the f***ing Stanley Cup not being enough to forgive the team for past losses. I agree with @Calicaps , they simply root against the Caps.
