Wilson and Dubois can’t be completely non-existent offensively. With Protas out you’re talking about half of your Top 6 giving you nothing.

The Caps are a 1 line time right now + McMichael with bad special teams.

I personally blame Cole Hutson.

This game completely turned when we gave them momentum by sucking ass on the 5-3 PP and subsequent 5-4 PP. Habs scored on their PP and momentum is gone. Need to grab it back with a goal early.

Hopefully you are embarrassed to have posted that. What matters isn't the number of penalties called, it's the number of penalties called compared to the number committed. And Montreal is committing three for every one called. It's still terrible reffing...

I would agree if it was any other team than the Caps in this situation. Game 7 at home is not a situation in which they historically succeed. Even with 2 of the next 3 at home, I would bet on the younger and hungrier Canadiens in that situation.

The urgency level has to be high at this point if it wasn’t already.
