This is the kind of game that separates the kings from the ducks. Or if you prefer the men from the boys. Both literally and figuratively. Go Kings Go.

Did Martinez get abducted by aliens or something. Ever since being banged up he is not on the ice nor are reporters saying anything about the injury, not even a we have no update to report. Strange.

Not really. Sutter has said essentially no more injury updates.

Hopefully, Buff or any other Jets don't try to injure our players.

From all of us at the Jets board:

Of course Pavelec pulls out his lucky play when the Jets need it the least. Pavelec is the anti-Quick, the most unclutch player (and bad to boot)..

Kept looking to see if the red TV timeout light would come on and after a minute knew it didn't go in. Since Toronto would call and say to stop play.

They don't stop play. If it had gone in it would only be called at the next whistle.

Theoretically you could have a goal go in at 19:45 in first that was missed, the play could continue until end of period. Then goal would be counted and time would revert to 19:45 (nothing after that would count).

I thought penalties still count?

They have started calling the arena and turning the light on if they catch it before a stoppage would have happened.

I know they use to not do this but I have seen it happen within the last couple of years. They don't want it to go any longer than they have to.
