If you think I miscalculated, just let me know. Now on to the predictions for the Winnipeg Jets vs. Anaheim Ducks game...

And don't forget to get your posts in before the puck drop for them to count...

It looks like I need about 18 points on this game to win this thing so here goes...

Jets 9-1, Anderson Dolan at 9:03 of the first period. It is a shorthanded goal thanks to yet another dumbass "managing the game" NHL penalty call on Comrie. He slipped and fell and was called for Goaltender Interference. The ducks tie the game at 9:52 on the powerplay by some guy I have never heard of.
The Jets then break an NHL record by scoring 5 consecutive goals in a 1:37 to take a 6-1 lead. The third goal of the five comes right off a centre ice face off. The puck went straight up, hit the clock, and deflected past the the goalie. In typical NHL fashion, the Refs did not see it hit the clock.
The Jets come out flat in the second and give back two goals to the Ducks. The period ends with the
Jets leading 4-1.
The Jets come out firing on all cylinders in the third and rifle home 5 more goals. One off a stick, 2 are blatantly kicked in, and another 2 off the clock making the final 9-1.
Third Star - Comrie
Second Star - JAD
First Star - TC.....The Clock
In the post game scrum, Arniel was asked how difficult it was to get the boys up for such a nothing game. His comment, and I quote:
"Duck Soup"

GO JETS GO.
SEE YOU ALL AT PORTAGE AND MAIN IN JUNE
