tough game to end on. but hey, good season.

Agreed. Lousy game to end it, but if you had told me before the season started that we'd improve our points total by 12 over last season and not actually make the playoffs but still at least be in the hunt closer to the end of the season, I'd have taken it.

We're pretty much exactly where I expected and hoped to be.

Not a whole lot to cheer about with that one, but hey, lots to be excited about in the near future with this team. Management has set them up for long term success with their rebuild and ownership is seemingly fully onboard with their process, lets hope they keep moving forward next season. Important off-season for BA.

Not making the playoffs was 100 percent on BA... This will be his off season of hopefully redemption. I tried to watch his interview but couldn't stomach the game. Did he own up to his mistakes or say this is a learning meaningful game? The players are ready to win, BA should of given them a chance. I hope that's the entire teams exit interview with BA... The one Serg left lol. Here's to another long off season.

I thought the team should have been in the playoffs this year, maybe that was wishful thinking, but Utah is in one hell of a hard Conference. Probably end up with the top six teams all over 100pts. Next year is going to be hard as well as the easy part is behind Utah. I don't blame BA at all as he brought in help on D when needed. Overall I will say it was a pretty good year. All Utah needed was about three more wins to be in the playoffs, and maybe if our D weren't so banged up we could have been there, but I don't like using injuries as an excuse. Bottom line, we just weren't good enough.

Totally agree with most except BA lack of agility. Would like better systems less fights (to many penalties) but they played entertaining hockey and loved how the players developed. Especially our Core.

They are really close, I think if they got to 97 points they'll get in, that's only four more wins. Armstrong is going to have to land a big top six fish to improve for next year though, I don't think he can hitch his wagon to internal growth. Important summer for BA.

They made a 12 point improvement over last year so that is good. They will need a 10 point improvement to get to 99 points next year and make the playoffs. That is a much bigger jump then going from 77 to 89 points, it will be much harder to accomplish.

Maybe not 99. This season, 96 pts in the West and 91 in the East get you in the show. We were 7 pts out with 13 OTL. Turn 7 of those into wins and we're in. The playoffs are totally doable next season.

P.S. Of course, many teams say this. Truth is...it ain't easy.
