GDT: Game 82: Sharks vs. Oilers 7:30pm NBCSCA

I just want to be average next year. You can talk about generational players and hot prospects, but there is always going to be the hot prospect. This team can't just stay still hoping to draft the current year's top prospect. They need to move forward and not get shut out in the final game of the season.

Well, they were technically better than they were last year, the best kind of better than they were last year

A nice wet fart to end the season. But despite even some rather aggressive unpaid moderating from the nemster, we made it.

This team blows though and are nowhere near even being competitive.

I wanted to watch the last minute. Enough to see Celebrini and Eklund slam their sticks.

I guess the kids aren't having fun anymore.

I'm sorry, it's hard to talk about optimism for next year when they just got shut out in the last game of the season. I know they have to put on a happy face, and there were positives this year, but this time and place just feels depressing.

What is the consensus on Hoshida this year. I thought he got better over time, but the way NBC Sports handled the Brodie Brazil situation really did leave a bad taste in my mouth. At least Hoshida didn't have to leave the Sharks for the A's in the last 2 months though, which is a plus.

I expect Grier's gonna trade him for a 2029 3rd rounder in the offseason.
