Getting shutout in the last game of the season would be pretty on brand for the worst team in the league I guess. Improving only 5 points from last season was quite a bit less than what I had expected too. But top 3 picks don't come without cost, sacrifices must be made!

I'm probably just grouchy after a long season, but is anyone else noticing Mack has been been forcing hope passes a lot this game? Feels to me like this has been a growing trend the last several games. Wonder if the kid finally hit a wall mentally and just lost his confidence to make a play himself.

This team has to get better next year. I just looked at the standings and unless they manage to get a point, they will be 9 points behind Chicago. It was close all season long and then the Sharks didn't care anymore. Can we maybe try for over 60 points? 70, even? It would be nice to watch a game thinking the Sharks have a great shot to win that night.

This Sharks season in a nutshell: I came in with zero expectations and still left disapppinted.

Hopefully they get some veterans in the offseason and start the process of getting back to the playoffs. I'll take Buffalo-level good next season.
